Development of a Giggle

I found a giggle today,
coursing thru my blood,
making its way into my lungs
there lingering and developing,
and with sides of my mouth upturned
and devilish sparkles in my eye
out came the giggle
and another, and another GIGGLE!

What was the cause of
this coursing in my blood?
It began with a tiny chortle in my heart,
and it grew and grew,
when my eyes beheld "wonderful",
seeing male and female cardinals
leading their young one
to the birdseed they know I place for them.

And, with a joy, I thank God for my giggles...
