Wishing the sunshine would reflect the moon,
Instead of the other way around,

Wishing the animals were truly protected,
Instead of poached daily,

Wishing all the children could laughed,
Instead of crying from hunger,

Wishing laws protected abused women,
Instead of the men around them,

Wishing people would stop polluting,
So all generations can thrive,

Wishing families could enjoy happiness,
Instead of struggling to survive,

Wishing money would cease to exist,
Allowing true equality to reign,

Wishing time could be spent wisely,
Instead of just fiddled away,

Wishing the wars would magically end,
So that peace can prevail,

Wishing upon twinkle stars in the heavens,
Instead of crying myself to sleep,

Wishing the world would turn more quickly,
So time passes at a faster pace,

Wishing all lovers could be transported,
Into each other’s arms tonight.
