Just wanted to drop in some food for thought as this is the season when most people feel a mounting pressure. Life here is good and I am enjoying new friendships, a new grand daughter, and a renewed relationship.

It's funny how a river winds,
Slowly turning and twisting,
Bending gently within curves,
While sharp rushing waters cry,
Churning angrily into foams,
That beckons one to walk fast,
Through the shallows on rocks,
Into the depths of murky moss,
Entangled in ropes of weeds,
Until air compresses heavily,
Upon exploding, gasping lungs,
And life slowly fades away,
Until no longer recognized,
By the owner of the tides.
The path does lead us where it leads us, but we must persist and prevail at all costs to complete the journey. A wise write!

Really nice for those of us who have lost loved ones this time of year. No matter how you rationalize, grief can overwhelm at times, and needs to be expressed.
