I search for You
With eyes that cannot see.
I long for You
With a heart that cannot feel.
I listen for You
With ears that cannot hear.
I reach for You
With arms that do not rise.
My faith in You
Grows exponentially.

I grasped the message here and the cry for help in a room full of silence. Depression. I used to poo-poo that there was even such a thing as medical depression. And, although I have never had it for long, extended periods, I believe in my heart that I have been flirting with it all of my life. I am writing my memoirs (Misdemeanors & Felonies") and this discover came as quite a shock. Welcome to AD.
