Midnight's Slow Bloom

Just after midnight when it’s very dark and quiet I can feel the bed give under your weight. My semi-conscious languor feels your cool presence Nearing my warm body. I smile lazily as your fingers gently brush the hair From my shoulder. I turn and lift my shoulder to my cheek to savor your Touch. Sweet low whispers are amplifying the eddy of delight Stirring within me. Slow motion quivers stretch across my body and soul As your palm enchants my swollen core. With each and every flutter of my eyes, I see stars Flash in the darkness. In my semi conscious state, I feel the heat from your eyes Like the sun that’s needed for the sweetest bloom I love how you love me with the unhurried drifting of Petals on a light wind. Tender care Soft love Slow love Slow growth Into the most spectacular bloom Yes, I love how you love me my love…my love. © all rights reserved MS 2002
