Your Side

I feel your arms encompass me warmly.
I feel the pressure of your lips against my skin.
I am sinking into a depression as you take my
hand and lightly pull away letting our fingertips
meet one last time.

I miss you already. I have the need to feel you
by my side, so I sprawl on your side and languish
in your form.

Your side – is a haven of memories that penetrate
my sleepy mind. I feel your smile on me as you
watch and wish that you could stay.

Gathering your pillow to my face to inhale your
scent and feel your warmth, I sigh softly, and drift.

Your side is where a magical cover envelops me.
I can travel within you and see our love right
before my eyes.

Come back to bed and witness this vision of eternal
devotion. Come to your side and share this with me
