Morning Glory Wake with me when the first ray warms The horizon Watch in awe as my petals swell with dew Feel the beauty that lures you into my lush Garden Pluck a tiny bud between your fingers to Enhance my growth In my languor I want to slowly creep up my Trellis…my strength, the source that I hold Onto until I reach the top When I come to full bloom I’ll race the beams Of light across the morning sky � MS 2002
