A grassy meadow high on a mountain Top, looking at the stars, you gave me Your heart and made me cry. We held each other and watched a shooting Star dart across the sky. It was there that I promised you that Some day I would give you a star We held each other - Flesh to flesh- Our hearts uniting Your eyes spoke to me in a silent tone Barely audible But it was my heart that responded with Infinite love One long silent kiss was heard by the Heavens above and a shooting star dashed Across the starry night and I reached up And caught it in my hands I gave you the star… Our lives together You gave me a kiss and the sparks from The kindling glowed brighter with each Breath we took, sealing our destinies The heavens began to spin; and we became The nucleus of the silent kingdom where The first star was born I said, “I love you” All rights reserved MS
