Love is too fine a texture to be handled roughly. It is like a sensitive plant that won’t stand the slightest hint of unkindness. It must be watered by the shower of tender affection and expanded by a glow of kindness and guarded by an impregnable barrier of unshakable confidence. This confidence matured. This life will bloom with a fragrance in every season of life and sweeten our remaining senior years.

Our marriage is like a pair of shears so joined that it cannot be separated, often moving in opposite directions but always punishing anyone who comes between us.

Most people envision an angel as a soft feminine or cherubic form and that is fine for them but not for me. My angel is tall strong, Black, handsome, protective, loving and masculine. My angel is a fierce warrior spirit housed in a now aging body which still contains all of the strength of purpose of his youth. He lives and loves me unconditionally and he is the center of my universe.

I love you unconditionally my fierce warrior angel and have during our 52 years of friendship and now 50 years of marriage. Many think this is a long time but in reality it is short when one considers eternity and the fun and joy we share in this adventure of this lifetime.

If I could live 52 more years my lifetime companion of choice would be you alone. Tu eres mi corazon, mi vida Y te amo, hoy, manana Y siempre.
