I'm Stuck in this Wonderful Place ... by a.j.a. * There is no sound of motors, just the sound of rustling leaves, and birds singing, the sight of a rabbit, hopping in the distance. * Love floats in the air. * What's that I hear as I walk? The hissing of a small waterfall. * See the robin's orange underbelly, as she files. * Fly robin, fly! * Hey, Toto, I don't think we are in captivity anymore. * I'm stuck in this wonderful place. Leave me. I am happy here.
Poetic musings penned, yet again, from my 10-year-old in her imaginative view of our backyard on a summer's evening. Gee, I really need to get outside more often. It seems the muses are everywhere of late! Yet my nose is stuck to the computer screen with work. It's a very good thing I have someone who can bring all this splendor to my desk, a reminder of what's out there when you finally get a day off!

I guess part of being an adult is only experiencing the wonder of childhood sporadically. Children are great reminders of how fresh and magical the world can be. Thank you for sharing this.
