Fine Versus Far From It Fine is lace, tatted and wholly, holds together well. Far from fine, is holes, no holds, no cling, all gone. Fine is bone china, delicate, yet sturdy, heirloom forevermore. Far from fine is jagged edges, torn up, broken pieces. Fine is sand flowing the hourglass, future at every tip-over. Far from fine is mud, wet sludge, plodding, going nowhere.
