Bougainvillea

Bougainvillea,

The very word is a poem

That conjures the exotic land.

A burst of gold petals to contrast a pellucid sky,

A cascade of transparent rubies scattered along azure seas,

White lace drifting against the hacienda's adobe.

a vista with no end in sight... the beginning of a beautiful relationship... your poem is to faraway lands what the rich aromatic scent of roses is to the Author's Den garden of delights... I am glad I caught it wafting my way.
