My beautiful aunt died on Valentine's Day. I know she is among the angels now.
Wings flutter, the air moving in a gentle breeze.
Thousands of angels alight, standing quietly. Some whisper prayers.
Some sing songs of praise.
The crowd grows,
But there is no panic or pushing,
Only souls sharing,
Alight with anticipation and joy.
The crowd parts as the loved ones arrive.
All are smiling through glad and sparkling tears.
The pain has ended. The pearly gates swing open.
A reunion of love unfolds, as the Valentine’s Day
dead
Resume a now eternal life, safe in the arms
Of those who have waited
Parents, brothers, sisters, friends, pets, and God.
