*Jig-Saw* Like a jigsaw puzzle, Piece by piece We build a life. Those we love, The hopes and dreams Take shape, each piece A part of who we are, An interlocking scrapbook Of time and place and people. Then, one by one The pieces slip away. A person here and there, We lose the past. A portion of the picture Slips out of focus. Bits and pieces of yesterday Shift into memory. Pam Patterson � April 2003
