I've always wondered!

If Jesus Came to My House
 
If Jesus came to my house, what would he think and say?
Would he feel at home here and decide that he would stay?
Would he know I loved him without a single word?
Could I ask him questions or would that be absurd?
 
Would he let me touch him and see the holes nails made?
Would I wilt from his touch when hands on me he’s laid?
Could he see my heart in the answers that I give?
Would he judge me harshly in the way that I have lived?
 
I know my savior loves me imperfect as I am.
I know that he would rescue me just like that little lamb.
So I hope someday he visits me, at the table we shall be.
For the Jesus I know and love has already set me free.

If Jesus come to your house I hope you have wine and a loaf of bread, and are able to wash His feet, and a "welcome!" is all you need.

Boy do I have a lot to think about. If Jesus came to my house...what a brilliant question...it has indeed been a day of good questions today. Lovely write, thanks so much...food for thought, I can never get enough of it!
