He is such a little man and I love him so.

Little Man

Little Man what a pistol, Little Man what a boy.
Little Man what a treasure, Little Man what a joy.
Such a little man he is, trying to be like Pap,
He talks just like the big men, filled with vinegar and sap.

He rides four wheelers like the big guys do,
And he has been riding them, since he was two.
He’s very tiny and only six and it’s quite hard to believe,
By the way he thinks or the way he acts since he was only three.

Little Man makes us happy, Little Man makes us grin.
Little Man doesn’t eat much; Little Man’s much too thin.
Little Man has much love in him & it comes shining through.
Little Man likes his sports for he’s an athlete too.

Even though Little Man says he likes his Papa most.
When Little Man is tired or hurtin’ he wants his mommy close.
Syrupiness flows through Little Man and comes bursting through.
He has so much love to give, enough for Grandma too.

God made grandchildren to give grandparents a good reason to stick around a while longer. How they bring joy to our lives! Your little man is so appealing, and so is this darling poem.

Connie

Beside Still Waters by Jill Eisnaugle

Each person is but a grain of sand resting beside the sea. This thought sets the tone for Jill Eisnaugle’s latest poetry collection, Beside Still Waters.
