Problems can be illusions and we must conquer them.

Poem Artwork

Climb That Mountain

Start at the very bottom, put your hiking shoes on.
Wait until the daylight so you will have the sun.
Then start your climb slowly so you have strength to spare.
As you climb, watch out for all the problems that are there.

When you come upon some rocks, they are troubles in disguise.
Don’t worry so about them, but open up your eyes.
As you get close, you’ll see if they’re big or they’re small.
You might try jumping over them, or walking on them all.

But if it’s huge and there’s no way to climb over the top.
Then go around instead, it’s only just a rock.
When you get to trials that bring you to your knees,
As you get closer to them, you’ll see they’re just trees.

Closer and Closer to them, you’ll see a pathway through.
Just take the pathway that you see, and it will channel you
Keep on looking forward you’ve nothing more to dread.
Your dreams are waiting for you, they are just ahead.

As you draw nearer to the top, exhilaration you will feel.
You will be rejuvenated and you’ll know the feelings real.
You’ve conquered all your problems you made it to the peak.
Don’t look back, just keep on going, you’ve got your troubles beat.

All rhymes and is set upon each other each line rings true of the mountain. Loved this one too much. Thanks for it. Happy week to you. More later. Love, Lois Happy Birthday to Jim too.

I found, everytime I have climbed a mountain that there was another after it, alone and sad, begging me to climb...
