Oh how wonderful it sounded.

The Rumbling of the Night
 
Hearing the rumbling of the night and knowing it was near.
Haven’t heard this sound in almost a year.
What a wonderful sound it is, I didn’t want to miss a thing.
So I stayed awake listening to the first sounds of spring.
 
This morning everything smelled fresh so nostalgic to me.
For it brightened up the outside giving life to the tree.
The flowers blooming with new life and buds on the tree.
Made everything so alive in all things I could see.
 
Oh so many springs went by since I was very young.
Noticing only a few back then, for I was having fun.
But now I enjoy each day and cherish each new pleasure.
And the thunderstorm to me, is this days new treasure.

Rumbling in the night is three bowls of chili-con-carne with those big juicy Mexican beans...(not washed down with Coronas,but with Coors beer, of course!)

Through the storms of rain, the earth comes alive and shares all her colors and fragrances with all who will see and inhale, so beautiful...

Yes, beautiful blooming trees and forsythia all yellow and blossums all around. We did not have the thunderstorm but signs of spring are all around. The robins are building nests in our pine tree and birds awake me in the morning. Oh, delicious smelling springtime. Thanks this poem is memorable one.
