If we take the time, what beautiful things we'll see. This was but one of them.

He Was Her Playground

On my way home one night I had to pass the neighborhood park.
There were many parents there but one man and daughter touched my heart.
All the other men were everywhere, at the slides and other play things there.
But this pair didn’t need them for her daddy was swinging her in the air.

This Father was her playground, she needed nothing more than him.
You could hear her laughs & giggles from swinging with her Jungle Gym,
You sensed the invisible bond between this wonderful man and lass.
You could see love flowing between them like Champaign from a glass.

It is every father’s dream to have this adoration from his child.
So few share this intense love, at most, sometimes it’s just mild.
I was one of the lucky ones for my father was just like this man.
He was all that I could ask for, he was my music and my band.

I’m so blessed I saw the man and his child that day in the park by my home.
For they brought back my father for a little while, when I was feeling so alone.

Father, friend, pal, buddy, protector...and then my little daughters filled my heart with so much joy.
Today I ask myself whatever happen with them, with our mutual joy.
Your piece make me remember that long ago sparks of joy.

Wow this is very sweet.A father and daugther bond is so special and cherish. When a woman doesn't think that there are any good man in this world, she can always turn to her father. To be honest with you,I saw some fathers with their daugthers having fun and just enjoying life in the park.It is indeed a beautiful sight to behold and I'm glad you saw it with your own eyes, take care
Love and Hugs always
