This is Not My Home
I’m climbing up my ladder & I am Heaven bound.
With each step that I take, I never look back down.
For Heaven is my home and where I want to be.
Being with my Savior & the one who blesses me.
So don’t stop my progress for earth is not my home.
I was only there but a short time, I was just a loan.
My Father is calling me and I can hear him clear.
“Come to me my child you’re getting very near.”
So don’t stop my progress, you will always be with me.
I’m taking the love you gave and giving mine to thee.
When I see my Father, I will tell HIM the love you’ve shown.
And when your name is called, you too will be coming home.
So be prepared to climb your ladder when your name HE calls.
For you are only but a loan there, it is not your home at all.
We will meet in Heaven and what a joyous day that will be.
For once again we’ll be together and it will be for eternity.
