Waiting ...............statuette
with my hand .........outstretched
reaching forward.......yearning for you
whisper my name .....against the wind
so I may hear the sounds of your voice
echoing sweet nothings upon my heart
waste not a moment my sweet prince
for the winds may change directions
sending your words to another
leaving me alone to languish
of what might have been
if only you knew how
to awaken me
within the
garden
my heart would belong to you
