Shadows cast the moon
to an eerie silence of darkness,
contemplated thoughts
whirled, followed by awe.
I watched,
spiraling lights tower in mid air,
colors flickered in hues
of rainbow's.
Lights descended
hovering my statue ambiance,
without thought
I walked into its embrace.
Wrapped
into a cocoon
of luminous threads,
sensations
filtering into the depths
of my soul
to ecstasy’s of insight.
Time elapsed,
revived to reality
I discovered
remnants
of tattered clothes
discarded and dismayed.
Thoughts emerged
with feelings of rage,
had I been raped?
Was this real
my mind screamed
or merely a demented dream?
( Honestly, I don’t know!)

Sometimes it is better to not remember, that is the primary reason I drink. Trying to remember that I should forget to never remember....oh the hell with it. Very good write. Hope it is just a tale.
