Self Portrait (Version 2)


I am, just me!

I am a chameleon
changing colors
to reflect an image.

I am, just me!

I am unbiased
with understandings
few can comprehend.

I am, just me!

I am emotional
with feelings that sear
piercing the heart.

I am, just me!

I am alone
surrounded with love,
yet, I live in solitude.

I am, just me!

I am everything,
to those who do not see
I am nothing.

I am, just me!

I am here
for those who need
a real friend

I am, just me!

I am faithful
to myself
beyond perceptions.

I am, just me!

I know who I am
and
I know who I am not.
