Just One Of Those Days

I got up late
damn my fate!
The coffee was cold
its just one of those crappy days
that began to unfold.

I missed train
got stuck in the rain.
I really had no one to blame.
Its just one of those days
I knew I would go insane!

I thought this day would never end
with a fake attitude I tried to pretend,
that things were as they should be.
Its just one of those days
I didn’t want to be me.

I Must answer this as Gumby

she came into work soaking wet
told me she'd quit this job Yet
she pretended that all was well
just before she told me to go to hell

sorry you had a really bad day
but please dont feel you have to stay
so go home and get some rest
life should not be such a test

Gumby

Mama told me there'd be days like this but she failed to tell me they'd last six months!! Good write, Tracey.

Interesting shape and form your words took, Tracie, centered as they are. Hope your future days are better for you! Too bad we can't make umbrella force-fields with our words! ;)
