Sorrowful Thoughts

Poem Artwork

She stands in stillness
with sorrowful thoughts,
would honesty
be the reaper of her heart.

Would her love seek
beyond boundaries of unsaid words,
would he hear with his heart,
or act as if they were not heard?

She stands in stillness
with sorrowful thoughts,
would honesty
be the reaper of her heart.

Silence follows the fading day
As night darkens to thoughts of dismay,
will another day end and a new begin,
without her love, will they endlessly blend?

She stands in stillness
with sorrowful thoughts,
would honesty
be the reaper of her heart!

a sad, nicely written piece - and the repetition is effective.
