The few who have missed me {Hi:)}must wonder where I've been. 'Woikin'~!!' Well, mostly;). Been entering competitions and concentrating on getting back in the habit of sending snail submissions. Bit of a drag, but it's past time. Good news = being forced to work harder. Bad = I don't dare post most of the work for fear it will be considered published! Miss you guys so much, I just had to write something for A.D. Rhyme's experimental, but...does it work? Dunno!! Too sentimental? Dunno!! Say what you will {she said nervously]. Just say somepn! Like I said, I missy'all. 'Pea <3" {Recognize the heart, Sandie?}

There are moments too sweet to save.
Not that anything happens. The sun sets,
leaving a farewell note on pink paper.
Sunlight dances a water ballet.
Someone lifts us with a word of praise.
We find a card with black-eyed daisies
and manage to send it on time. Amazing!
Or maybe we see toddlers playing
in sand, reminding us not to have regrets
about petty battles over shovels and pails.
Or we wake up on the right side of the bed
and the coffee is hot, or it’s payday.
It can be as simple as Hi from a neighbor
or the yukky hello kiss of a pet.
The fact trees look greener after it rains.
A promise received or made is kept.
Remembering all we have learned from pain,
like knowing to take small steps.
There are moments too sweet to save.
Beauty is, they save us.

These song lyrics and art are tales, tides and twinkling lights - tunes telling stories of warmth and sun, city and sand, paths that lead, and the coins we can keep in the Karma Bank. Spirit's been bypassed for sorrow, dreaming of a better tomorrow .

I love this - gives me warm and fuzzies all over. Especially like this line: "The sun sets, leaving a farewell note on pink paper."
Great to see you come 'round!
