I long to dance within Iberian sunsets
in the same way you dance in my heart
filling my body with boundless energy
as every cell within you exudes romance
I would be swallowed in that inundation;
in those restless waves of endless passion
so that I may hear the songs you sing
and feel the vibrations of your embrace

There is symmetry in your soft voice
clearly reflected in the mirror of my soul
and my heart bows within that silence
in between the pauses of your dreams
You have seen life from a distant rock
where ancient soil contains my roots
as if somehow you were left behind
and I had become lost so long ago

I have whispered into your palms
at the tender edges of the four winds
feeling the warmth of my own blood
as it coursed through your veins
as it fashioned itself upon your lips
like acrobatic clouds of sweet words
with the sheen of jeweled delights
in the moment you repeat my name

I wish to appear in those Iberian sunsets
that wash over the hills claimed by rain
cascading into streams of your thoughts
leaching into the soil of fertile pastures
and from there I would find my way home
to caress you with inspiration and grace
where dreams magically infuse realities
and fantasies transform the fruit of life
