When I was a young child, it was Pretty is, as Pretty does
As the gangly legs and baby skin turned to softer body, young but thin
It became clear that in this world beauty had to be out, not just within
When I grew up, fell in love, took a mate, babies born, life was full..and I gained weight
You're face is too pretty to be so fat. Why can't you do something about that?
Grown and old, kids gone, life mate passed, what is left, should I stay strong, go on?
Passion at my age? Of course and more. Career, children, grandchildren, and friends
Always busy, sharing, caring, living through each of life's new journeys
I look in the mirror...really see..Our life is nothing if you don't love you
Through it all, I learned that love and life are beautiful, and only I can make it so
When I was a young child, when I was a young woman, When I am an older woman....
I've always been Pretty is and Pretty does, both within and many times "without"!
