Our heart aches when we are unsure of the eternal destination of a dying loved one...

His Mercy is pure…astounding in Power He never gives up…and His Love will Pursue All the way to the grave for His Merices are new Every morning… And in that final hour His Love may break through And mercy overpower a lifetime ill used All the walls and defenses of a dying man Demolished in an instant by a loving Savior’s hand When Love shines through… Only in heaven will we know and understand The farthest extent of our kind Father’s plan His power to break through the hardened heart of man And restore Him to glory—yes, we know that He Can! In the final hour…

A very timely poem for all of us - because life is like a mist that is here today and gone tomorrow. Each one can be sure of his final destiny in Christ Jesus (John 3:16) because the Son of God promised "they will never perish but have eternal life". The God of the Universe is Faithful and True, His Word stands eternal and that Word assures us of heaven.
