Although I have not had the very sad and tragic experiences that this poem alludes to, there have been many griefs embedded into me from a slightly dysfunctional childhood that I have only just been able to admit to. And I have at last learned what a gift tears are. May your own tears be transformed into rainbows of cleansing, rebirth, peace and hope. I am so sorry for your pain, but you have allowed the pen to write some of it out here, perhaps. And may the second "half" of your life be a full redemption of the first. Bless you, Kate xx

I can feel your pain in this but I hope that you have not lost the ability to cry for I honestly believe that some tears are as necessary as smiles...I guess the trick is to know what is worth crying for and what is not. Well done DL
