Is there reality farther from reach?
A resolution to fantasy’s shackles
Cinched upon a gasping reality
Mocking even yesterday’s silhouetted verity?

Dystopian pleasure sludge
Foisted on absorbent ignorance
Suggesting all is well
With escape into peril’s bathtub cage
Where fake-love’s sludge
Has only to wait for the drain to empty
For vacuous rancidity of loss
To fill the nostrils with
Undeniable putrefied dumpster relief

I’ll wear all white
You wear all naked

Please…

You might be front-page tabloid
But Plato would see you sitting dead stoic
Ignorant of what really is human
