Beneath the Words

A silent meaning here,
a loud silence there,
words to be gleaned,
yet often unspoken.
His essence of meaning,
became a magical discovery,
soaring beyond utterance,
the text more evanescent
than the echo of essence
resonating beneath the words.
Such quietness is now beyond,
while remaining so near.
