Avoiding BP

No matter who you are, falling down is common, from birth to old age. It's how you deal with it. (Image by pinterest)

Avoiding BP

It's ok to run and lose your wind.
It's expected that your body stays behind your mind.
It‘s ok to slow down too.
                             BP
Who said it would be smooth?
Who said the path could be seen?
Who said that, huh?
                             BP
Every victory.
Every failure.
Every attempt.
It's okay.
                             BP
Just be careful.
Light is sometimes very dark
Beware the light that might blind you.
Such is known by some as the BP.
Life’s slippery enigma is everywhere.
Banana peel is always ready.

Oh, do tell! I was playing badminton and had a sure spike that I was going to make happen and came down in a small ditch no one knew was there. Three broken bones in my foot! 'Enjoyed!!

Love ya!

I know it's hard, but the best way is to eat the banana because it's good for you and then dispose of the peel in a way where no one will slip up on it. But I can see the coming of creaky joints and flaccid muscles that failed to make one's gait steady so that the hazards of life become easy to trip over and fall.

I see this poem as a warning as we age and come upon all the pitfalls of life that not only include broken hips but friendly cons that come in the form of cures and easy get-rich-quick schemes falling on semi deaf ears and wits that are no longer about us. Beware. GRon

I've fallen down more times than I care to count, but I, so far, always seem to bounce back up, even when I broke my ankle one time. Falling down is not funny unless you get to see someone slip on that proverbial banana peel. Then it's hilarious.

Indeed it is, couldn't figure it out until you made it clear. I have avoided a few in my time. Let's see how long my luck holds out.
