Today I Began a Walk Through Tomorrow

Through questions without answers
Through memories not yet born
Through answers to be earned

Tonight I Continued My Walk Through Tomorrow

Where mind/spirit protects in the darkness of anticipation
Where sleeping rainbows not yet seen prepare their palettes
Where the light quietly waits to dawn the unknown

Tomorrow I Will Take a Walk Back Through Tonight

To remember the air that carried your smile's sweet fragrance
The dance of translucent thought and feeling upon my lips
The love that protected me from yesterday and awaits tomorrow

After reading this, I yelled, "I love you!", to my jiggy boyfriend in the next room. I want today to be a good memory. We can't take anything for granted. Great write!

What we all wish for is a tomorrow that is better than today. I think if we work for a better day to happen, it will. After all, we all shape our future, like it or not.
