Everyday events convolute the resolve of even the most determined to experience the essence of what it’s actually like to be an intrinsic part of awareness. (Image by Pinterest)

Awareness Gasping
How gentle,
Awakening to breath,
Breathing into awareness,
While awareness gasps for space.
How simple.
How rarified this consciousness
Taken for granted,
Often ignored,
Ever patient,
Even as chemicals oft times derail direction,
As gasps continue.
To escape.
To lie among the grasses.
To splay one's existence for message
Even as awareness remains short of breath.
But, oh…
To be.
To witness.
To become as one with earth,
Air,
Water,
The human totality needing not to gasp for space.
So many know the drill,
But so few willing to Oorah,
Accepting relationship with the ant,
The hawk,
The melting snows,
The rainbows.
And so…
Awareness continues to gasp
For the shared breath of the universe.
Love ya!

Still, that awareness is in me… That primal feeling… That I cherish and helps me stay on the right path had not caught up in cults and other falsehoods that are so prevalent in our hectic lives.
