Time-Release Existence
Remembered upbringing,
conditioning,
controlling
amidst darkness.
Do this.
Do that.
Sallow,
sad,
brainwashed living.
But then one day…
Insistent choices pondered,
but never engaged,
became antipathy's eruption.
Inner flames roared at vacuous air,
singed thoughts once stranded came alive,
dancing atop the flames.
Fog burned away.
Paths emerged.
Clarity appeared natural.
Today…
Valleys lay ahead
where landscapes yet to name,
seeded by epiphanies,
sprouting growth without poisons,
await the harvest patiently.
Beyond…
One’s chameleon mountain,
the mirrored layering of molten sides,
storing echelon energy,
await survival needs.
More liquid fire deep within,
life's internment craving to be totally free,
sleeps with one eye open,
awaits our ready.
The mission is forever ponderate.
The when.
The if.
The how.
And especially the why.
Why this fluid rumbling, seldom expressed,
chooses such unexpected moments,
purging forth the painful past.
For what?
To bury?
To forget?
Or, to scatter as life's compost,
becoming another time-release occurrence,
existence gratefully remaining the cosmic continuum,
ingesting,
evolving,
ad infinitum?
Love ya!
