Another reflective "growing younger" trilogy needing to be grounded. Yeah, my mate told me two years ago that she was going to kick my ass if I fell short of my 100th birthday. Nice challenge, eh? She reminded me again last year on my 81st. I reminded her of her 38th and climbing upwards that she had a goal too. (Image by pinterest)

Those Twenty Summers Left
And what is twenty?
Two prints of one's hands in the sand immortalized?
C’mon…
Just a youthful day at the beach,
Forever replanting impressions,
Inviting the tide in,
Patiently awaiting the tide out.
Life revels in creating images,
enigmas,
creative experiments,
the subtext of poetry searching for a grounding.
Perhaps it’s all about innocence kept alive?
Or maybe…
For those who perceive there is no end,
sublime existence awaiting the next beginning.
Since I'm sure there is no more, "other," life, the rest of what I've got is merely sublime and I cherish every minute of it.

Peace, Courage and Wisdom.
An exquisite ontologic photograph of the subject dealt, "Those Twenty Summers Left" sings with a clear poetic voice.
This certainly stimulates thoughts and discussions; and will create an endless cerebration of life-living. Heraclitus probably would say: "One can get there, if one cares for the next twenty seconds anywhere."
The lesson in the vision created by the lines of "Those Twenty Summers Left" is: One can prepare for her/his hundred twentieth birthday by balancing actions in harmony with healthy thoughts and diet.
