Regardless of the years, the simple gifts come as a result of living one's life, not just putting up with its insistence on abandoning youth. To forgo love, is to abandon one’s humanness. Oh, how threatened we are. (Image Daily Mail)

Patient Love
To know of hummingbird stillness.
To feel the pine needle crunch beneath winter snows.
To hear the embracing stretch of pistils weeping.
To see infinite jest in cumulus billowing.
To touch a pebble beach strewn with one's caress for life…
Such becomes
The rebirth of childhood.
The wisdom of Life's carefree shovel and bucket.
The trust in nature's patient invitation.
The living life with love.
Love ya!
Jane
Another brilliant write, to add to your collection of brilliant writes, my friend. You bet, wordplay glorified.
Cheers,
