Wannabe Syndrome
Mountains and sea
Will exist happily ever after
Accepting they are stone and water,
Erosion and strength,
Yin and yang.
Oceans don't complain.
They tide high and low.
Pressure released.
Mountains know not fear.
They suck it up,
Hold their enormity tight,
Occasionally send an offspring
To the valley floor.
But resent?
Regret?
Pout because they might not be the biggest peak?
Improbable.
Now humans…
Will the species ever accept itself?
Or will it succumb to wannabe anxiety?
Nature remains content…
Even though it has its moods,
It doesn't long to be something it's not.
Sea is secure with water.
Stones respect magma parenting.
Clouds embrace shades of gray.
Skies glory in their blue.
Sun rises.
Sun sets.
Nature exults in just being.
No anxiety attachment.
None at all.
Love ya!
