Pandemic Freefall
Hidden among the shaded cosmic growth,
Rules made to be broken off the straight trail,
Wait unexpected obstacles,
As compass readings that waver,
Portend risk.
Settle not for pyrrhic victory.
Seek not the programmed timetable.
Bungee jump with the passions of intellect.
Breathe deeply the sweet ether of the mind's lungs,
Think.
Retire the notion Life be a bitch and then you die.
Life asks to be understood.
It knows not the ceasing of a heartbeat,
Or the void of breath,
For Life as we know it is a perpetual cosmic preparation.
For those who embrace the endless circle,
Life remains a glorious cycle of matter's existence,
Destination…
???
Love ya!

For those waiting to die in assisted living or nursing homes, a quick death may actually be a godsend. I know this may offend those that have a feeling of deep connection to their elders. But I often ask myself, why would they put them away in these places rather than having them in their homes like in the past? We all know the reasons.
The dilemma here is what we do. I have a feeling that whatever we do, we will be blamed. This pandemic is really uncharted territory. We will get through it, but it might take a couple of years. In the meantime, all of our habits and practices, our "meaningful?" work providing us with a means to do all these other things, kept the economy rolling and and us, "happy?"
