This phenomenon persists

Awakening our inner selves

Giving momentum to our needs

They have our backs

They resound with musical counterpoint for thought

Offer the unexpected

Provide comfort for risk

Composers exalt their essence

Painters lay their colors upon a canvas

Writers excavate their lexiconic need

Lovers seek reciprocal balance

They are what the particles of life’s desire

To create something of worth

Discover that which justifies living  fully

And knowing love’s passion is not only for object
