When one’s love-touch is without purchase, mind wanderings weave a solace of hope. Often, personification emerges. (image by pinterest)

Poem Artwork

Closure

Empty closet

save for sinuous red dress

straps clinging at-the-ready

embracing flirtation of hanger

hoping to catch open window gusts

making slinky loneliness to dance

refuted by empty hangers

clicking in unison

like crochet needles

snapping their

time to loop-design-anew tongues

Might be actually an opening. I can imagine a young follower of your charm coming to the door and wanting in. Once inside finding that gown hanging all alone in wanting to try it on, perchance to dance.

Resulting in a new relationship blooming from the sight of of that irrepressible dress that wants, needs to dance and romance.
