How might the bee think

As it returns to the hive

Bearing sustainment?

Life and pride in being part of

Togetherness.

The oneness of duty and commitment?

Might they be feeling altruistic?

We seem to have lost our way,

Being slaves to only that which brings reward of another sort.

Far too many humans have become personally ignorant of the wealth

Known so well by the bee instinct,

It’s altruistic duty to purpose.

The bee colony.

The beehive.

Yes…

They know not aspiration slavery.

What happened to us,

The hominid species

Who unlike our ancient ancestors,

Evolved into a struggle

With the act of giving?

For a large portion of Elitists…

The thought of giving anonymously has become an absurdity.

Instead, meritocracy opts for cheers from subordinate workers

Anxious to belong to this elitist class,
