Through the evidence of the multiple trials soon to be underway, the thin veneer of power of respectability will be peeled back to reveal the true nature of the person in question. No amount of lying can ultimately conceal the truth.

I find this writing contains intelligence in its nature, in its content, in its succinctity (we’re allowed to make up words here). “He pulsates/Red.” Just the word ‘red’ having the brevity of its own line, initial cap even = “Red.” How powerful that is. “Confident of the buttons,” has broad shoulders and we know what those buttons summon. “Reigning upon their innocence” swept a huge sadness over me. For it is ‘done’ upon a past innocence. I had to look up ‘misanthrope,’ and gathered all these lines into a highlight over “This century’s” as the message, messenger and destination. There’s a scene in the motion picture made of Annie Proulx’s novel The Shipping News — where Quoyle gets drunk with his mates and reluctantly joins the insanity of chopping up a fellow’s boat so that the comrade can’t sail away. The mob madness was a force of negative energy Quoyle couldn’t resist….it had a pull on his dark side. In the morning he was sorry. And ashamed. Hindsight doesn’t prevent lack of forethought. “One is challenged to consider evil/In a new way…” This chillingly acute portrayal by artist and author sounds the siren. I can hear it. ~~ djl

What will you do, Dear Odin? Look around you, do we need four more years of suffering under Bidens dictatorship and horrible policies both domestic and foreign? I really don't care too much about a candidate's personality but I deeply care about the results of his presidency on the country and our people. Honestly, Odin, if I didn't believe God is in control I would panic and despair about the whole thing. It's good to write your heart, to share your concerns with others as you have done in your poem.

So many see him as helping them overcome their overrated fears that something is happening because of the immediacy of the media that the Donald uses so well. They like the way he cuts through all of the wasteful, slow and difficult process of democracy deciding the best way to go and just goes there, without regard for the rules or eventual consequences.

That makes Donald Trump their hero and they can't see that he is just another shyster, two bit con artist sociopath, only interested in himself and his family, but easy to please his followers who all have the weakness of wanting but not wanting to do it themselves. Especially when he can do it by simply saying it through his many media outlets and at rallies and the fear alone will cause the problem to go away--really?. A placebo of sorts for their fears, while he amasses wealth for him and his partners and makes sure these loyal followers do his dirty work while not taking responsibility himself. His own cadre of Brownshirts and SS military elite.

With 91 indictments for crimes of deceit, treachery, treason and insurrection underway, gradually, those who thought he was great, the greatest thing since Hitler and wealthier Southerners who owned slaves, hopefully will see the light if they don't understand your very clear message in your prosetry of removing the cloak of greatness this chameleon is wearing to see what Trump really is underneath.
