True! People should be kinder. However, some folks live life like it is, hurting many others. Morals have gone out the window, and getting ahead seems to be the name of the game. The next time you are at a red light, see how many folks race to get ahead, but no one is winning the rat race of life! People cut us off, and being rude on the road is almost expected, but the kind, courteous drivers are exceptional. So, let us be unique and exceptional. Well done! Amen

This is so appropriate for the times. Your last line is alive and present. . . even the chance for someone to allow us to merge into traffic….or the chance for us to let someone merge. Holding a door open, reach an item on the too-high grocery shelf. Smile at people you don’t know. One knowing look at a young woman with a small child in the shopping cart. . eye contact and an unspoken exchange if you have also pushed a cart with the prescious, challenging, important little person.
