Romance Knows Not Dying
Focus may change,
Objects of interest may change,
But seeing that which is forever amorous
Need not be a person,
Animal,
Or
Lost love.
Consider…
Love will not be confined,
Won’t be focused only on a person,
Will consider all that is worthy of love.
To which…
Stay vigilant,
Alert,
Focused,
Sensitive.
For when…
That which we are taught as romance fades
Or disappears,
Remember a mother’s caress,
A father’s pat on the back,
A mysterious nurturing,
Maturing,
Realizing,
Applied,
Will.
How liberating…
To discover caprice as a natural part of us,
Where emotional shadows
Fade as enigma,
Becoming real,
Where new loving thoughts might have never been considered before
Become passion’s epiphany,
Realizing courtship of another kind,
A channel to unrealized compassionate connection,
The pursuit of ethereal magic
Rising,
Lifting hope,
Resurrecting trust,
Becoming part of life’s grand romance
That knows not of dying,
Only of protecting the broad purpose of Eros.
Love,
Hope,
Confidence.
Consider…
Hummingbirds
Exercise romance
As they gently hover their considerate love
Over their drinking and protection of
Nature’s needs.
For humankind to allow romance to exist as an all-in focus
Is to allow rapture’s tears of joy.
Love ya!

That is a kind of love that comes through when you willing to listen to others, work with them and share ideas. Brotherly and sisterly love. Like the hummingbird, as I eat my lunch of vegetables, if I just stop and notice, I find romance in savoring fresh carrots, celery and radishes. Or even the 10 minutes or so that I get out in the sun every day when it's a sunny day. You might call that romancing with vitamin D. A bit hard on the eyes and the skin if you stay out too long.
