Delirium of Joy
In the quiet of a sunrise,
When much of the world is still,
A breath of joy
Ripples through the air.
How subtle this moment,
As it is not loud,
Nor does it shout,
But it fills the heart
With a gentle warmth.
Might it be…
A child’s shy laughter,
Or perhaps a lover’s touch,
Or the simple beauty
Of a blooming flower
Raising its petals toward the light.
Such are the moments of joy
Giving us the chance,
Fleeting as it might be in time,
To appreciate the fragility of peace,
As pure delight is woven
Into the morning ritual
Of getting up from bed
And the pause before
The daily routine begins.
Yes…
In the delirium of joy
We might discover ourselves
Unburdened by worry,
Revealing that moment
When our true selves rely
On the creator
The imagination
Regardless of unresolved challenges,
For that moment,
We are free of sorrow.
Embrace it.
Hold it close,
You are experiencing
The gift of truly living
The axiom
Be here now.
We all know that they are temporary. I have little slices of them every day and I'm so grateful that that kind of happiness is available to me quite easily.

Sensational. A humble thanks.
