Junk-Yard Comb-Over

by Odin odin@aflx.com — Read all 3,869 poems by Odin odin@aflx.com

How do we stop the nonsense? Just a few short weeks ago, a huge amounts of variable Strong Man rubbish and derelict grade school bullish behavior began its smothering end game. Might this be one of the most widespread rule-of-law pollution factors facing the world's sentient population? Be it by “firing” “Chainsaw antics” or cowardice ass kissing, it’s hard to be patient and hopeful, isn’t it?

 Junk-Yard Comb-Over

With your emerging existence at risk
Like follicle betrayal

A Nation’s ego may afford little time for acceptance,

As loss is loss.

Whether due to stress,

Or the growl of power genes,

Democracy is being chased down

But hey, you don’t have to “get used to it”

The HOUSE may be crumbling

The SENATE may be dysfunctional,

But with orange suntan aplenty,

There’s a savior clamoring to rebuild in his own image

With yet another Rogaine moment of disappointment.

But wait

There’s more…

For just 3 more pounds of your flesh

Accompanied by privatization of federal institutions

And the complete demise of education,

Plus just a few more strands from your balding pate

You can have the miracle fix…

The Trump Party soak,

The Musk chainsaw cut,

The Congressional mums-the -word daily massage.

Once indulged

Caring about your manhood,

Your womanhood,

doG, even your off-spring-hood,

all will be irrelevant.

So don’t wait

Order your FIX now

Just use the convenient

Last unemployment check

And before the life-line ends,

You can have…

Have…

Uh….

Nothing?

With this tirade you have dumped all that you know about the creep that poses as a President, and very badly at that.

I'm with you all the way.

The beginning of a dictatorship, it is so obvious. Well written.

Ditto Diana, who fleshed out what many people feel. How long will this situation go one before the light can shine again through all the shadows. Well done, my friend.

Odin, I’ve been hibernating since the inauguration, an emotional coma, and surfacing now to read your post here. I believe it is appropriate for writing of this nature to be released from its cage now. Starting with your intro…”…its smothering end game…” — that is how it feels, as though we are being smothered, waterboarded, all of us. {I even put my 2 cents in this morning.}. Most shocking line: “ And the complete demise of education,” My family has teachers, both parents, brother, niece, daughter-in-law, all working towards human creativity and intelligence. It wasn’t lost on me your line reversing the upper case G, “ doG, even your off-spring-hood,” — also the word ‘irrelevant’ in the lines…which is how most of us are feeling. Good for you and anyone else who feels the power of the pen matters. This matters. It’s time. Thank you ~~ djl

I could not have said it half was well. How long will this phony keep the gene pool stained is anybody's guess. Still, we need to keep on flushing the toilets.
