Nature Lessons…

In the flow of wind

Transporting the rain

We learn that nature

Speaks in cycles,

Where growth and decay,

Like human achievement and failure,

Where sun and shadow

Join in the seasonal faculty.

Each storm a guide,

Urging the squirrel to share,

Each bird to sing a warning,

Adding to the forest’s symphony of aid.

Yes…

Learning is part survival

Where knowledge is a shared endeavor,

Kindness is instinctual

Providing wisdom with unity

Etched in the bark of ancient trees.

Our failed grades…

Are bitter pills

Whose sting ignites a spark

Where diligence is born from disappointment.

Inevitably…

A resolve to rise,

To strive is offered,

Urging the turning of the page with newfound clarity

Perception.

Choice…

Where each mistake serves as a stepping stone,

Each setback a humble mentor

Teaching us to respect heartbreak as a heavy burden.

Still…

Anger finds no home here,

For in the ashes of sorrow

Compassion blooms,

Teaching patience

In the art of

Letting go.

Reflecting…

We find each tear a testament to growth

Revealing in twilight years,

Where strands of age turn silver

And gazes soften,

Reflection becomes a gentle friend,

Keeping protected

The lessons of cherished memories.

Scars remain…

Only as introductions

To the story told
