Poem Artwork

 We are all Creative

The power of a single flame
A spark igniting life’s mold
It's a universal and indestructible torch alight in the void.

Such is the indelible ember of existence
Its flickering essence always within reach of insentient awareness,
Its warmth touching the roots of ancient trees,
A consumable wildfire of inspiration
Laying its swath across the landscape of thought.

Available to all…

It's blaze-precious kindling for the dawn of ideas
Knows well the dance created,
Where wind’s determined changes
Bellow into a luminous force,
Unyielding and pure.

Anyone…

Can experience the generosity
Of creation as its inferno burns through
The fabric of reality,
Its heat molding the contours of future mountains,
Breathing life into the depths of the ocean waters.

Such is this radiant pulse like a lighthouse
Echoing its presence through time’s infinite tick of history.

Dreamers know well the flicker in their eyes,
Becoming for some
A flame in the heart of an explorer,
A glow illuminating the path of discovery
And the quest for knowledge.

To invite creativity…

Is to experience the perpetual blaze
An unwavering force.

For the fire may dim,
Embers may smolder,
But the flame of creation, regardless of size,

Remains a steadfast glow
That knows not of burning out.

Yes…
We are all creative,
Even the stock boy or girl
Creating a pyramid display of soups
At aisle’s end.

A strong and encouraging pen, Odin. Wonderful to know each of us is creative in our own way.

We may be losing our democracy as a country but you have brought democracy into the realm of creativity through this validation of human inventiveness. Indeed, "We are all creative, even the stock boy or girl," who would have thought. A timely, radiant piece.

I remember you commenting to me about how we are all creative many years ago. Since then I've paid attention to those posting and encouraged them to expand their creativity and let it run to wherever it will.
